BOSTON – Advisors Living, the residential platform of Boston Realty Advisors, has opened a new sales office in Arlington, capitalizing on an opportunity to expand the firm’s reach into another sought-after Boston suburb.

Arlington is the 14th location in which Advisors Living now operates. The rapidly growing company recently opened in Weston, Sudbury, Wellesley, Canton, Andover, Gloucester, Newton, Sherborn, Merrimac, and Cape Elizabeth, ME, adding to its existing Nantucket, Boston Back Bay and Boston Waterfront locations.

“Arlington is very desirable, and the new office has great proximity to prominent communities, including Cambridge, Belmont, Medford, Melrose, Somerville, Watertown, Winchester and Lexington,” said Merit McIntyre, Chief Executive Officer of Advisors Living. “It’s also an opportunity to bring on the most talented agents in the Arlington community.”

The new Arlington office, at 691 Massachusetts Ave., Suite 2, has 16 experienced real estate professionals, led by Managing Broker Jeff Smith.

“We have strong relationships with some of the top agents in this close-knit real estate community, and we seized the opportunity when another office recently closed,” said Smith.  “We were able to secure space and open the new office quickly, and we expect to have approximately 20 agents on board before long.”

The Arlington-based agents, all new to Advisors Living, and all previously associated with Coldwell Banker, include: Frances Allegra, Kelly Batti, David Beeching, Tony Cabral, Michael Carlino, Philip Chaves, Judy Conley, Laurie Crane, Marjie Fitzpatrick, Nick Lento, Lynne Lowenstein, Brendan McCusker, Christie Pellegrino, Neran Rohra, Khalil Razzaghi and Ray Suppa.

“Arlington is a very desirable place to live, and it’s only six miles to Downtown Boston, with easy access to public transportation, great restaurants, wonderful parks, and a highly rated public school district that includes a brand-new high school,” said Managing Broker Smith.

Housing inventory is limited, with only 288 single-family homes having sold last year, compared to 307 in 2021, he said, and on average single-family homes are selling for 108 percent of the listing price.

“Although the market has shifted, we are still seeing well-attended open houses, multiple offer situations, and over-asking sale prices,” Smith said. “Arlington real estate remains strong.”
