BOSTON – Advisors Living, the residential sales platform of Boston Realty Advisors, is joining together with Landmark Residential in Sherborn to offer continuing residential sales services to buyers and sellers in Sherborn and surrounding towns in the Metrowest area.
“Landmark Residential is a top-tier independent brokerage in Sherborn,” said Merit McIntyre, Chief Executive Officer of Advisors Living. Landmark Residential, established in Sherborn and operated by Nora Lynch Smith, will be known as “Landmark Residential, a Division of Advisors Living.”
The office will have four agents to begin with and may expand to a dozen or more in the near future. It is located at 5 Washington St., at the triangle in the center of town.
“Nora is one of the top three agents in Sherborn, and we’re delighted to absorb her talent and vision and ability to assist clients into Advisors Living,” McIntyre said.
As a part of Advisors Living’s extensive expansion into the suburbs of Greater Boston, the Sherborn partnership is advantageous because it has become more difficult for independent brokers to supply to support and tools that allow them to be competitive with larger agencies with multiple offices.
“This is the best of both worlds, because it allows Nora and her agents to continue to do what they’re so good at and also plug into our brand and support and management,“ said McIntyre. “It’s a win-win.“
Smith, who previously had extensive experience at other agencies, said she had the opportunity seven years ago to acquire Landmark Residential.
“I got a full understanding of how the Realtor organization works from the bottom up,“ said Smith. “I’m delighted to be joining with Advisors Living. I’ve never felt more confident and excited about being part of an organization that really knows what being a Realtor is about.“
Smith is a Certified Residential Specialist and in 2023 will become President of the New England Region of the Residential Realtor Council, encompassing the six New England states from Maine to Connecticut.

“Sherborn is super special because you are close to Boston with the feel of New Hampshire and Vermont,“ she said. “There’s proximity to Wellesley and Natick and Framingham -- and commuter rail trains in all three.“
Advisors Living has added more than 100 professional agents to its team in the last 18 months. The new sales professionals are based in an expanding number of offices throughout the region and add talent and experience to a company increasingly represented in downtown Boston, neighborhoods, suburbs and the region.
Advisors Living recently opened an office in Newton and in the spring opened a new office in Weston, servicing not only that town but also Wayland, Lincoln, Concord and other communities.
Advisors Living also recently celebrated the dual grand opening of the Advisors Living residential sales office in Wellesley and the opening of the sales gallery for Terrazza, Wellesley’s new luxury condominium residences that will be ready for occupancy in Spring 2023.
In addition, Advisors Living has opened new offices in Canton, Andover and Gloucester in the last year.
